Yasmin Vantuykom: Always-on was never impressive #70

Multitasking isn't a skill.
It's just two things done badly at once.

This Week on "Scrollaholics"...

Our new collection, Quyet, is here 💜

A collection born from customer feedback. From a personal search for calm. From wanting to escape this hectic world.

  • This Quyet Home comes with an NFC tag built into the base of the aluminium lid. Simply tap it with your phone, and it automatically activates your personal "Quyet mode", no notifications, no calls, not even from your favorites.
  • Companies can now also choose their lid in their own branded colors , perfect for meeting rooms, or as a gift for employees and clients. A refreshing alternative to the traditional corporate gift.
  • It stands as a symbol. At home or at work. A clear sign of what your culture stands for: real connection, calm, focus and productivity.

A thank you

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. To celebrate the launch, the collection is available at a special, limited-time price.

Episode 10 Season 2: “Many people are feeling overwhelmed by constant change” — Bart Couwels on the importance of real connection."

  • Silence isn't empty, it's where focus lives. The urge to check your phone "just in case" is rarely about the notification. It's a habit. Give it somewhere to land, and the itch fades faster than you'd expect.
  • Presence is a choice you make on purpose, not when you have time. Nobody accidentally has a distraction-free dinner or meeting. The people who protect it decided to, in advance.
  • Boundaries you can see are boundaries people respect. Saying "I'm off my phone" gets ignored. A visible signal, on the table, on the desk, doesn't need explaining twice.

Yasmin

Since using Quyet, I truly realized how dependent we are on our phones. Whether during meetings or family dinners, conversations become calmer, deeper and simply more enjoyable once the phones are away. It's a small habit with a surprisingly big impact. On top of that, Quyet is beautifully designed and fits perfectly into any home or meeting room.
