Yasmin Vantuykom: Olive Green #60

Grounded in green,
made for the moments that matter.

November 2025

This Week on "Workaholics"...

This past year has been an incredible learning journey, one of exploration, refinement, and growth. With Quyet, I went through more than 10 prototypes before we finally reached the version that felt truly right. Along the way, dozens of colors came and went, but the olive green instantly stood out. It became my coup de cœur: a calm yet characterful tone that feels just right for this season.

It’s a color that brings warmth and depth to any space, from festive dinner tables (ideally phone-free, with or without the kids, with or without friends) to meeting rooms and offices that could use a little brightness during the winter months.

As we head into the colder months (my personal favorite time of the year!), I hope this new piece adds a touch of coziness and connection to your everyday moments.

Episode 2 Season 2: “Our teenagers are walking around with a jet lag” — Marie Loop on screen addiction and healthy screen time.

  • Teenagers are vulnerable, but also incredibly resilient. Yes, their brains are still developing and easily overstimulated by screens. But with the right balance of structure and trust, they can bounce back and grow stronger than we expect.

  • Building “mental capital” is about skills, not limits. It’s not just about cutting screen time, it’s about teaching focus, calm, and self-regulation. When teens learn how to manage attention and emotion, they gain tools for life.

  • We have to model what we hope to see. Teens learn from what we do, not just what we say. So putting down our own phones, slowing down, and being present might be the best lesson we can give them.

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #64 Not everything needs celebrating. But progress deserves tracking. December 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... Since 2020, I’ve been keeping a Tada-Da list next to my To-Do list. It’s a simple habit: capturing what has actually been delivered, especially the things that, a year earlier, were still just plans. Here’s what made the list recently: A real leap into a new space. From concept to physical product, and from solo building to an expert community,...

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #63 The new status symbol? Being offline. November 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... Offline is the new luxury. At least, that’s what Vogue says. Brands are leaning into analog experiences, tactile materials, and slower ways of living, because apparently, scrolling less is suddenly chic. Tote bags filled with books, puzzles, and journals are trending on TikTok. A flip phone or “no followers” status? Instant cool. Wearing yesterday’s micro-trends online is...

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #62 Experience offline. November 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... Our first Quyet X Scrollaholics event! A free breakfast session next Thursday (27/11) in The Hoxton - Brussels. Why? Because I want to gather our community offline, make them experience what offline can bring you, especially in the workplace. What to Expect: Welcome breakfast in a beautiful setting. A keynote by me, I'll share my personal story of breaking free from screen addiction. I'll offer...
