Yasmin Vantuykom: On the look out for... #61

This Week on "Scrollaholics"...

It’s finally here, my new book Scrollaholics is officially out, now in bookstores and available online. What began as a personal journey, a 100 day challenge, to rethink my own relationship with screens and constant connectivity, has grown into a practical guide enriched by the insights of experts who helped deepen and sharpen the message.

Next to the launch, I’m also looking for more opportunities to showcase Quyet, the expert platform, the design object, and the workshop experience built around healthier digital habits.

Right now, I’m looking for:

  • SMEs who’d like a keynote, workshop, or in-office demo, and
  • interior shops or concept stores interested in featuring the Quyet design object.

If someone comes to mind, a company, a shop, or a person, I’d really appreciate an introduction. Even a small nudge can create a big ripple.

For the moment I did not plan any book launch yet, there is so much time going to Quyet and next to that I still want to keep time for my family and friends. So priorities. But it does not mean it will not happen later on, I hope.

  • Constant connectivity acts as a modern stressor, overwhelming the brain much like other “modern toxins”
  • Intentional offline breaks restore balance, the same way intermittent fasting or cold exposure resets the body.
  • Controlled breathing and mindful pauses strengthen focus, reducing the impulsive urge to scroll endlessly.

Looking for pilot companies

Do you know a company that would be interested in a keynote on digital habits, an interactive workshop, our expert platform or the Quyet design object for their team?

Our sessions are designed for employees and management, focusing not just on professional benefits (less stress, more focus, resilience, and creativity) but also on personal wellbeing of their team: stepping away from screens to be more present with family and friends, managing notifications, and feeling in control of their time.

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #65 Belief is what you do before the numbers agree. February 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... I didn’t write a newsletter lately because work has been… loud. Not “busy” loud. More like existential spreadsheet loud. Because here’s the part nobody romanticizes: it takes a very specific kind of belief to keep going when the math isn’t rewarding you yet. When you’re doing a lot, reinvesting everything, and the numbers don’t reflect the effort. When progress is...

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #64 Not everything needs celebrating. But progress deserves tracking. December 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... Since 2020, I’ve been keeping a Tada-Da list next to my To-Do list. It’s a simple habit: capturing what has actually been delivered, especially the things that, a year earlier, were still just plans. Here’s what made the list recently: A real leap into a new space. From concept to physical product, and from solo building to an expert community,...

Yasmin Vantuykom: Newsletter #63 The new status symbol? Being offline. November 2025 This Week on "Scrollaholics"... Offline is the new luxury. At least, that’s what Vogue says. Brands are leaning into analog experiences, tactile materials, and slower ways of living, because apparently, scrolling less is suddenly chic. Tote bags filled with books, puzzles, and journals are trending on TikTok. A flip phone or “no followers” status? Instant cool. Wearing yesterday’s micro-trends online is...
